The leaves of the mint plant are the most commonly used part of the plant, and they can be used in a variety of culinary and medicinal applications. Mint leaves have a cooling and refreshing flavor, and are often used to flavor drinks, desserts, and savory dishes.

Peppermint tea is another popular way to enjoy the benefits of this plant. It is known for its refreshing taste and ability to soothe digestive issues, such as nausea and bloating. Peppermint tea is also believed to have calming properties that can help reduce stress and anxiety.

How to Select Fresh Mints?

Look for mint leaves that are perky and even-colored, not wilting. If you’re at the farmer's market, smell them. You should get a noseful of that distinct aroma.

How to Store Mints?

To store mint loose in a container or plastic bag, swaddled in a just-damp paper towel so it won’t dry out and air can circulate. It’ll stay fresh for at least a week or even longer.
