- 4 Artichokes
- 6 tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 2 Fresh Lemons
- Salt & Pepper to taste
- Cut the stems of the artichokes.
- Use a steamer pot and basket to start.
- Place artichokes in the steamer basket, facing upwards.
- Place lemon slices into the steamer basket.
- Add water to the bottom of the steamer pot.
- Juice 1/2 lemon and add to the water in the steamer.
- Cover the pot and steam for 20-25 mins (or until the leaves of the artichokes are tender.)
- Serve topped with fresh olive oil, minced garlic and lemon slices.
